An04/11/2023Dear Julien, we felt so welcome in your house. You did all you could to make us feel at home. The house was very cosy and clean and had all we needed for our stay. The gifts you've bought for the kids to play with during our stay were a big hit and it was so kind of you. It also made them feel connected to you. Besides the fact that the street is quite noisy, we do not have a single remark. Thanks for helping us out when we had to leave 2 days earlier and for your kind words. Kim14/10/2023Juliens place was fantastic! Highly recommend. The house was exactly as described and looked in the photos and the outdoor space - both the shaded seating area and the pool area were amazing. There is so much space and its very private. The house has everything you need including a barbeque and Julien made it very clear when we arrived that we could use everything in the house and to treat it as our home!Location of the house is great, right beside the bus stop with regular buses going into and out of Avignon. Conveniently there are also some shops, restaurants, supermarket and bar within a 5 min walk up the hill. Lastly Julien is an outstanding host! The day before we arrived, he proactively contacted me re check in (and was very accomodating), sent us several links for local restaurants, shops, bakeries, markets etc. He even drove us to find an open supermarket on the day we arrived (Sunday when everything was closed!) and dropped us back to the house again!

Sarah-Louise16/09/2023It's the secret you want to keep secret because it's just so good! We stayed for 5 nights, the preference was for 10 but there wasn't availability, having stayed I can see why it's so popular. Julien and his property exceeded all of my expectations and we will definitely be booking again. Julien is by far one of the best hosts, he provided so many excellent local recommendations which were right up our street. Avignon is lovely, however, we prefer the local town, very picturesque, the gardens in the fort are so pretty and beautiful restaurants for chilled evenings. As for the villa, it is simply stunning, it has everything you need and more and we instantly felt at home. It's immaculately presented and Julien has thought of everything! We loved our morning ritual of sitting on the gorgeous outdoor table enjoying coffee and a pastry from the recommended boulangerie (the lemon meringue cakes are addictive), followed by a walk or relaxing by the pool. Thanks for the most amazing stay x
Alexander08/09/2023Julien's property is absolutely beautiful and we had a lovely short stay, we were desperate to stay longer. The house has been renovated to a high standard and is modern inside with everything you need. The garden/terrace is wonderful and is perfect to relax and bbq in the evenings. Up the stone steps from the garden is a fabulous pool deck to sunbathe and a wonderful clean pool to cool off in after a long day in the sun. Julien was a fantastic host, in fact the best we've had. We arrived at 10.30pm and he was happy to meet us and show us around. He was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. He was available by text all through our stay and provided so much information to make our stay easy. We had a hire car and there was plenty of space outside to park. The car was useful for exploring. There is traffic noise from the nearby road but in the evening it's much quieter and wasn't something which affected our enjoyment of the property.Thank you Julien, we hope to come back soon

Couldn’t have asked for more from our experience at the villa and i would recommend this property to anyone visiting Avignon or the surrounding areas!
Duncan30/08/2023Julien's house was perfect for our holiday with friends and our children. Good central living space and spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds and ample storage. Julien provided lots of baby equipment for us which made life much easier. :) The house was the perfect base while we were in Villeneuve les Avignon for a friend's wedding and provided a lovely space to cool down after activities in the city. The salt water pool was fabulous, tucked away up the stairs with a lockable gate to keep curious children away when required.Julien was also very easy to deal with. He was welcoming, and provided quick responses to our messages both ahead of our arrival and during our stay.We wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

For a detailed review feel free to scroll down for my walkthrough from 2022.Julien and his place have lost none of their charm. In fact, tiny changes here and there indicate a host who is always seeking to improve. I have already heard about the next set of improvements. I cannot speak highly enough of Julien has remains an outstanding host. He and his father who were very kind to us when we needed a hand and was very responsive. Beautiful home, beautiful garden, beautiful pool. No doubt, you will not regret staying here, and are likely to return, just as we did.
